Mindument asks you one question a day and keeps your answers in your own voice. Record messages for birthdays, weddings and ordinary days, build a space that feels like you, and choose who receives it when the time comes. Your recordings stay exactly as you said them, private and encrypted, and reach only the people you chose.

How have people kept a record of a life?
Records of a person’s life used to be a notebook, then a tape, then a disc, then a home movie. Now it’s an app. The medium keeps changing, but the wish does not: to leave our thoughts, our hopes and our memories with the people we love.
Where did SurpassLife begin?
With a simple question: what remains of us when we are gone? Not our things, but our voice, our way of seeing, the words we meant to say. People have always asked it, and technology has rarely tried to answer it with care. We wanted to explore it quietly, away from the mainstream, because the question itself belongs to everyone.
Why talk about death at all?
I think people avoid talking about death because it is taboo, or private, or sad. But death is a part of life, and what better way to celebrate a life than to create memories you can keep and share: memories of your likeness, memories of you.
Why you?
We want to be part of that conversation, and to help it along. Someone was going to build this. We would rather it be built by people who treat it with the care it deserves. So, why not us?

A few things we will not bend on.
- Real recordings firstWhat the family hears first is the person, exactly as they said it. The original audio is never edited.
- Consent, spoken aloudOnly the person whose app it is gets recorded, and only after they say, in their own voice, that they agree.
- Nothing inventedThe AI likeness answers only from what was recorded. It never invents a memory, an apology or an admission.
- Yours to takeEverything exports as plain files at any time, and opens without our app.
- No ads, no selling dataWe plan to earn from a membership, not from attention or from your information.
- Grief support, honestlyGrief support, not counselling or therapy. Crisis lines are always within reach.
